We designed and manufactured our first Solar Water Heater in 2008 in Aurora, Ontario. The project was named MULTEPS SOLAR.
Later in 2011 Our Solar Engineers designed the High Efficiency PV SolarSystem that can produce more energy in a long run than any other system available in Ontario nowadays. In order to achieve this goal a combination of several main quality factors, components and techniques have been used to build this system:
High quality solar modules with industry leading weak-light conditions performance;
High energy yield inverters constantly applying Maximum Power Point correction algorithm on each single module in our solar arrays;
Thermally balanced mounting system designed to provide maximum air flow to prevent module overheating from the roof surface;
Quality wiring and installation to minimize energy losses on the way to the grid;
Robust web-based monitoring system collecting data from every single module for further processing, control and fine tuning of the whole system.
We use only high quality modules from some of the leading, the most recognized and established manufacturers in Ontario such as Canadian Solar and Siliken to name a few. Our Siliken Canada Inc. manufactured modules for examples have been recognized as the best by the Photon 2010 laboratory test. They generate 6.2% more power than an average module used in the test. For our residential and small industrial projects we use Enphase inverters. The results of a recent field study of over 143 sites in operation for 6 months or more indicate that Enphase installations outperform their PVWatts estimates by 8% on average, with most sites outperforming by more than 11%. A review of similar published studies indicates that solar installations using standard inverters actually underperform PVWatts estimates by 8% on average. When considered together, these results indicate that Enphase Microinverters can improve the performance of solar installations by 16% on average versus standard inverter technology( the study published at: PVtech.
